Placement of fan unit

• To ensure maximum air flow through the whole room, mount the unit in the window, wall or ceiling furthest from the air inlet point (e.g. doorway) and at a high level.
• Do not position a fan where temperatures are likely to exceed 40 degrees celsius (i.e. above a cooker hood or eye level grille).
• A fan installed in a bathroom must not be within reach of a person using the bath or shower.

Ducted Applications

• Where a duct passes through an unheated roof void, insulation should be used to minimise condensation formation.
• Horizontal ducts should allow any condensation to drain away from the fan.

• All Xpelair Exhaust units carry a one year warranty, from the time of purchase. For all warranty claims, please contact your local Xpelair distributor where the product was originally purchased.
